This soft cotton is made from 100% recycled materials and is beautiful to work with: soft on the hands, easy to knot, maintains structure well, and brushes into lustrous fringe.

4mm triple strand cotton (3 ply) is the perfect material for making large wall hangings, small wall hangings, feathers, plant hangers, wedding arches, curtains, mandalas—anything, really. The most versatile and beginner friendly cotton I offer in my shop, the beauty of triple strand twisted cotton is that has many different “looks” when used in macrame:

-leave the three strands twisted for the look of rope
-easily untwist the three strands for a differently textured appearance (curly, almost like ramen noodles)
-easily brush the cotton to achieve a smooth, creamy looking fringe.

Unlike some triple strand cottons on the market, this rope is SOFT. You won’t find any softer, and you really just have to try it for yourself to see :)
